Broken Mirror Painting
A Rich Look to Your Home

by Nabeela Aboobacker
(India)

Find or make some tiny broken mirror pieces. Take a medium sized canvas board. Trace a design of your choice on the board.

For example, I did a peacock design on my board. I then painted it with acrylic blue, green, golden yellow, etc., to matches the peacock.

Then I applied glue on the peacock design, and added the broken tiny mirror pieces. I used golden three dimensional liner to outline the design. Again, I used glass colors to paint the mirror, which gave me a beautiful three dimensional, embossed peacock. The background of the design I painted with acrylic colors.

After it had all dried, I framed it. Now I have a rich show piece for my wall. Try it out.
